I don't know if I will ever be able to handle sharing a closet, so I admire those of you who do :)

I feel like it's been ages since I've just posted an OOTD.

The other day it was a little bit cooler out, so I could get away with wearing pants. I really love summer clothing, but there's times where I definitely miss more of the fall styles.

While this outfit is quite simple, I like the cut of it as a whole. From the top knot, to the high neck of the scarf, and to the clean cut of the pants, this outfit feels chic and put together without being fussy.

Makeup for today-- I've been using my new Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple. It's easy to wear red lips during the day with this product since it's slightly sheer and not too intense.

I paired it with a light golden brown and slightly smokey eye and black winged liner.

Collective Haul

Hey there dolls!

So you know I'm trying to save a lot of money this summer, but I need to do a bit of shopping every once in a while.

Even just stopping in Target or Walgreens and grabbing a new blush brightens my day.

Here are some things I've bought over the past couple of weeks!

As you can see I've really been LOVING pinks and corals.

I think they look great with a tan.

I'm going to a wedding tonight and I'm wearing the coral dress pictured with the belt and wedges.

Catch Up

Hello loves!!

First I'd like to just say how thankful I am for my mother. She is such a wonderful person and I'm so happy I have such a good relationship with my parents--love you mom. Don't forget to take time today to tell your moms how much they mean to you!

I'm sorry it has been so long since my last post.

Everything has been insane since moving back home for summer.

I worked doubles the two days after I moved back, and the past two days I've been working or re-arranging and organizing my room and closet. It's been quite the project but I'm so happy with how it turned out.

I'll be doing a tour soon, I just need to finish a few more things :)

My dear friend Chelsea is moving to California in less than two weeks, so I'm trying to spend as much time as possible with her.

I'm beyond excited for her, but I'm also sad to see her go.

This just means I'll have to make a trip out to California sometime, right?

Anyway, we went out for sushi tonight and it was SO GOOD.

We couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was.

Remember my Faux Pixie Pants post? I went to H&M and tried on the pants and FELL IN LOVE. I adore them. I bought these red pair, and also the khaki, but I plan on going back for the black and the teal. They aren't what I imagined, they aren't very stretchy at all, but I love them.

Hint of Spring

Hello all!

The weather has been so gloomy and gray lately it just sucks the life out of me.

I've been slipping some hints of spring into my wardrobe to try to liven things up.

Bright accessories and flowy materials--

Forever 21 printed scarf. Coach sneakers. Forever 21 neon pink belt. Coach fuchsia scarf. Forever 21 sheer, flowy top.

Usually during winter I only wear dark reds, burgundys, and dark purples on my nails.

Now I painted my nails light pink with a gold accent nail on my left ring finger and my right pointer and middle fingers.

Whenever I get a glimpse of the light colors it reminds me that warmer weather is coming!

Finally, I've been using lotion with a little bit of self tanner in it just so I don't feel quite so pasty hahaha. Also, I've taken a break from my Chanel perfume for a lighter scent. I've been using lighter colored lip products as opposed to my typical winter colors.

Jergens Natural Glow lotion for light to medium skin. Sinful Colors nail polish in Euro Trash. Revlon nail polish in Cotton Candy (it also smells like cotton candy). Forever 21 lip balm in the scent Tropical Berry. Lancome Juicy Tube in Berry Bold. Tommy Girl perfume.
