Take Off and London Day One

GREETINGS FROM LONDON!!!
I'm in love.
I want to move here.
Just warning you, this will be a long post.

Let's rewind to August 23, 12 pm central time in Oconomowoc, WI

Long day of traveling calls for an extremely comfy outfit
Layers helped me with the temperature changes between outside, to our shuttle which took us to Chicago, to the airport, to the plane.

Details-- Top: Marshalls. Sweatwer: H&M. Pants: J.Crew. Scarf: Random Boutique. Flats: Crocs. Sunnies: Coach. Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff. Backpack: Urban Outfitters.

Our flight finally left Chicago at 9:30 PM [it was scheduled to leave at 7:05] I slept for most of the flight and sat next to a nice Danish man. I almost told him I like his pastries.
We arrived in London at 4:30 AM central time, or 10:30 London time.
After that we caught our transportation to our hotel, checked in and got going!!

We took off toward Oxford street and stopped at Selfridges. Something I was SOO excited to do. I died looking at the Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Céline, Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen and so many other high end boutiques.
We walked several miles observing all of the architecture and history London has to offer. I love seeing how every single person has a unique style. Something completely different from Wisconsin.
We made our way to a little café for lunch then continued walking, making it to Regent St. and then to something I was ecstatic to find: CARNABY STREET.
I heard about Carnaby Street from Pixi2Woo and FleurDeForce on YouTube.
It was the most charming and wonderful little area.
It was less busy and you could tell it was mainly locals.
It started raining then so we made our way back to our hotel where we're resting a bit now.
Anyway, enjoy the photos and I can't wait to tell you about day two!!

I wrote this part ^^^^ of the post yesterday but lost my internet connection before I could get it posted.
Day two has been wonderful so far and I'm writing several posts to go up over the next couple of days so you can see everything we've been doing!!

Celebration

You guys...

I leave tomorrow.

Like what?
I can't wrap my head around that.
I wanted to have one last night out with some of my favorite people to say goodbye and also celebrate my birthday.
We went to the Cheesecake Factory and it was delicious.
I tried taking photos of my food, but it was soo dark and I didn't want to use my flash.
Being the weirdo I am, I just Googled images of what I got
Beets and Goat Cheese Salad
Chicken Samosas with Cilantro Sauce
And I split a piece of White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Cheesecake with Rachel.

It was delicious and way way too much food.

Here's what I wore!

Details-- Dress: Marshalls. Belt: H&M. Wedges: BCBG. Bracelet: Forever 21.
I should have gotten a photo of the back of this dress because that's my favorite part; there is a deep V and I think it's a really pretty detail.

ALSO THIS IS IMPORTANT.
Anyone who lives around me, I am currently phone-less and in desperate need of one. If you have an iPhone for AT&T please please please let me know! Message me on Facebook or Tweet at me.

Thanks a lot for reading!

Preparing For Take Off

Hello loves!!
As you can see I have a new blog template!! I really hope you like it.
I'm very happy with it :)
It's thanks to the Etsy Seller, Beautiful Dawn Designs. If any of you are in the market for a new template, she has a lot of great designs.

My trip to Europe is getting closer and closer! I'm getting really excited, but there is still so much to do!
I leave for London on Thursday and I haven't started packing yet.
Uh oh.

I made a Target run the other day to pick up some travel size items I'll want to have on the plane and just some random things I needed
Aveeno body wash. Tresemme heat protectant. Mini hairspray. Elf face primer.
Mini mouthwash. Q-tips. Travel pack of face wipes. Dove deodorant.
Sally Hansen eyelash curler. Elf brow brush.

I've been searching for a pair of heeled booties for a while now and I was pretty set on getting a pair from Urban Outfitters that looked just like these. They weren't incredibly expensive, but I was still browsing around for another pair. I found this pair at Kohl's and they look identical to the UO ones but way cheaper. I can't wait to get use out of these in Europe.

You might remember me talking about how I really wanted the J. Crew pixie pants a while back? Well I finally got them and I don't know how I lived without them. They're so unbelievably comfortable and fit really well.
Everyone should go get some.
[I know, I really need to iron my shirts]

Does anyone remember jelly flats from when you were a kid?! I used to love them, but they hurt my feet so badly.
This pair is actually made by Crocs and they are sooo comfortable.

Clean & Easy

Hi friends!
The weather has been cooling off a bit and I have been so happy that I can wear pants again.

I did a bit of shopping over the past few weeks and picked up some new tanks amongst other things.
I plan on wearing a lot of black pants and tank combinations while I'm in Europe and changing things up with different accessories. I'll do a haul post if you guys would like to see the things I bought.

I like the simple lines of this outfit. It feels chic with the minimal jewelry and clean cut top, but also laid back with the distressed denim and sneakers.

This has been one of my favorite makeup looks lately. Leave a comment if you'd like to see a tutorial on it :)
